Mariah Carey continues to prove she's the Queen of Christmas with a set of holiday concerts planned for a new primetime concert special that will air next month.
Carey will takeover Scotiabank Arena and Toronto and New York City's Madison Square Garden for a pair of holiday concerts, the latter of which will be featured in a two-hour primetime concert special on December 20. The queen diva will hit the stage for some festive hits, including the ever-popular "All I Want for Christmas Is You," per Rolling Stone.
The "Fantasy" singer spoke to Jimmy Fallon about the upcoming "festive" shows, sharing how excited she is to enjoy the time with her fans.
"I realized that the best thing I could do was just talk to the fans, sing to the fans with them, and it's an inclusive experience," she said. "It's so fun. The last time we did Madison Square Garden was pre-covid, 2019. The most fun I ever had doing a show because it snows – I don't want to give it away."
The "We Belong Together" singer is no stranger to a holiday special, showing off her very own Christmas spirit on Apple TV+ with Mariah Carey's Magical Christmas Special in 2020 and Mariah's Christmas: The Magic Continues in 2021.
Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas to All! will air at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday, December 20, on CBS. The show will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
