Memories are made during Fair Grove’s Main Street Christmas!

Fair Grove’s Main Street Christmas is an initiative of local stores, restaurants and businesses to recapture the feeling of small town holiday celebrations of years past.

Each Thursday evening in December, visitors to the town’s Main Street will see festive lights and old-fashioned display windows filled with trees, mechanical, and lighted figures and colorful Christmas decorations.

The historic Wommack Mill will be open to tour on Thursday evenings. Stores will offer extended shopping hours from 5-8 pm along with special activities that include a writing station for letters to Santa, read alouds of classic holiday stories, craft demos, specials, discounts and much more. Locally owned restaurants will serve up crowd pleasing dishes. Visitors can savor a great cup of coffee and sweet treats to keep them fueled and warm while they stroll along Main Street.

Main Street Christmas is sponsored in part by the Fair Grove Area Chamber of Commerce. Chamber officer and Main Street business owner Anna Sutherland invites everyone to “Come to Fair Grove anytime but the extra events on Thursday evenings are perfect for making special holiday memories.”

Participating Businesses include Complete Realty, Fairly Groovy Fab Home Decor, Festoons & Filigree, Hilltop Pizza & Grill, Main St. Appeal Salon & Barber Shop, Monroe Coffee Co., Monroe House Boutique, Old Mill Flea Market, Something Borrowed Wedding and Event Rentals, Time Travel Cafe, and Wommack Mill/ Fair Grove Historical Society.
