Ozarks Literacy Council Trivia Night

Ozarks Literacy Council is proud to be celebrating 50 years of promoting literacy and providing free reading services to children and adults in Southwest Missouri. We have seen at least a 30% increase in the number of individuals receiving services the last few years and it looks like we will be well over 40% growth this year.

Our 17th Annual Trivia Night will take place on August 28, 2018, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Oasis Hotel again this year where we are hoping to have an even larger turnout and just as much fun. The theme of the event is, "50 Years of Stories," paying tribute to the many success stories of individuals who improve their literacy level through hard work and determination. More importantly, everyone who learns to read or improves their writing ability is now better able to tell their life stories for many years to come. Proceeds from our trivia event help to fund our tutoring and preschool reading programs.

Teams of 10 can register at ozarksliteracycouncil.org. We will have prizes for best literacy-based costumes and best decorated table. Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams as well as the team who finishes in last place. There will be fun games between rounds and a silent auction full of great items for purchase.
