The Ozarks Food Harvest Empty Bowls fundraiser is going virtual this year! Empty Bowls 2020 features over 240 beautiful ceramic and wooden bowls that have been handcrafted by local artists and donated to Ozarks Food Harvest to be auctioned off to raise money for the Weekend Backpack Program. 1 in 5 children in the Ozarks is unsure where there next meal will come from. Often times, the only meals these kiddos get are the breakfasts and lunches they eat at school. The Weekend Backpack program provides 6 kid friendly, nutritious meals as well as snacks and toiletries, to take home every Friday so they have food to eat on the weekend.
From September 18-30, you can place your bid in the virtual silent auction. The first 250 people to sign up get a free meal from Panera! I LOVE the Empty Bowls fundraiser because you can add a gorgeous piece of handcrafted art to your kitchen while making a difference in a child's life at the same time.
