Miley Cyrus, Alessia Cara & More Set For Metallica Tribute Album

Metallica will celebrate the 30thanniversary of their iconic “The Black Album” and part of the celebration includes a 53-track tribute album, “The Metallica Blacklist," featuring artists covering the album’s 12 songs.

Artists contributing to the project include Miley Cyrus, Elton John, Alessia Cara, J.Balvin, Weezer, The Neptunes,  and more. The album will be available digitally and streaming on September 10th, and on vinyl and CD October 1st. Check out the track list here.

  • And Metallica has just released the first track from that album, a cover of “Nothing Else Matters,” by Miley, featuring Watt, Elton,Yo-Yo Ma, Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.
  • Profits from the album will go to Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation, as well as a charity of each guest artist’s choice.
