Jennifer Lopez Pays Tribute to Selena, Performs New Single For First Time

2019 iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina - Show

Jennifer Lopez ended the US leg of her "It's My Party" tour in July in Miami at AmericanAirlines Arena, and the multi-talented superstar returned to the very same stage to give fans another incredible performance at the 2019 iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina on November 2.

J.Lo looked like an absolute QUEEN (as per usual) in a black and white latex bodysuit and over-the-knee boots. She kicked off her set with her new single "Baila Conmigo," which was the very first time she ever performed the track live.

Next, as Lopez greeted the crowd, she talked about her starring role in 1997's Selena, which was based on the late singer's life. Jennifer explained that while on her tour, she would work some Selena songs into her concerts, and decided to treat fans to a cover of Selena's hit "Si una Vez" — and she made sure to perform it just like Selena.

After her beautiful Selena cover, J.Lo asked the crowd, "Y'all wanna dance?" And dance she did! The star performed songs including latin mega collab "Te Bote" and her Bad Bunny song "Te Guste."

Lopez ended her performance with her song "El Anillo" which featured a mind-blowing dance breakdown, complete with flips, lifts, dips and so much more.

With her fiancé Alex Rodriguez and daughter Emme there to support her, Lopez was also honored with this year's iHeartRadio Premio Corazón Award — presented by Pepsi — which recognizes all of her philanthropic contributions.

Outside of her work in film, television and music, the singer/actress is being honored for her work with humanitarian organizations including the Gloria Wise Boys and Girls Club, the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, the American Red Cross and the United Nations Foundation, among others. Previously, Lopez has been honored by the Human Rights Campaign with their Ally for Equality Award for her commitment to better the lives of the LGBTQ community. Additionally, following Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria, she donated $1 million in aid to Puerto Rico and launched a humanitarian relief campaign, Somos Una Voz, which helped to rush supplies to areas affected by Hurricane Maria. Building on her campaign, J.Lo helped also helped to put on disaster relief concert "One Voice: Somos Live!," which raised over $35 million.

After the award was presented to her by iHeartRadio's Enrique Santos, she made a touching speech and said (translated to English), "I am very grateful and honored to accept this award as an artist, woman, mother... as a Latina, I am here as you."
