(NEWSER) – Future journalism of students at Wisconsin's Marquette University will get some help from a scholarship fund in honor of James Foley. The American journalist executed by the Islamic State graduated from the school in 1996, CBS News reports, and his family has helped establish a scholarship to "provide financial assistance for a communications student who otherwise would be unable to attend Marquette," per The Wire. A mentoring program will also be created "to help build upon the convictions that drove Jim's passion: to provide a voice for people whose stories would otherwise go untold," according to the family'sstatement. Meanwhile, his parents have released the last email from Foley's captors.
